See beauty in the ordinary. Look at the details/aspects and appreciate their complexity.
Be happy by default. When nothing is wrong and you are conscious of your thoughts, choose to be positive. Doing so, over time, you subconscious will develop to be positive.
Remember that you always have a choice. There is often a good reason or motivating factor for you to be in a struggle.
Remember that everything is temporary. Nothing matters and and so it is pointless to get upset over mistakes, lost time, opportunities, goods. Death comes to us all.
Assume that others act with the best intentions. It is unlikely that people are trying to ruin you all of the time.
Be present. If you focus on the past, you will be depressed. If you focus on the future, you will be anxious,
