1. Patience. Organised events and schedules are fickle. You’ll often wait in boring and uncomfortable situations and there is nothing you can do. Learn to be content with silence and nothingness. This is within your control.
2. Minimise dependency. It traps you in a cycle and limits your freedom.
Let go of attachments. You limit your life as not to compromise them. Those with nothing to lose can live without fear.
3. Presence and Mindfulness. You’ll never be depressed or anxious when you focus on your senses. Depression and anxiety belong in the past and future respectively.
4. Drop labels. They limit your ability to interpret situations. Without labels, you can enjoy anything. Preconceptions negate honest evaluation.
5. Monitor your expenditure. It is much easier to save or spend money than it is to earn it.
6. Time management. Design your days to flow smoothly so you never rush and schedule tasks for when you have energy.
7. Reflection. Meditate or journal. Helps to know yourself, values, flaws, and mistakes not to repeat. Gives clarity for action.
8. Flexibility. Hold no attachment and adapt to the changing environment. You become unbreakable at all times, in any place
9. Health. Everything is trivial without it. Commit to a healthy diet and regular exercise.
