What to do when overwhelmed


1.Write down the facts of the situation. Predict the most likely outcome (if you had to bet your money). Determine what is and isn’t in your control, then consider what the single next step of action to take. Think rationally!

 

2. When you cannot stop thinking about something,1. break your mindset by imagining something impossible e.g., ninjas and sumos burst through your wall and start fighting. 2. Identify something in your environment that you have never noticed            

 

 

3. When something bad happens ask yourself what exactly happened, how did I interpret it, how would I react if it happened to my best friend, how have I learned or gained from this experience
