1. Meaningful, concise speaking
Identify your personal flaws. For me it is not taking time to think before speaking
Get straight to the point. Cut out the prelude.
Use plain English you are comfortable with.
Use short sentences. Make the sentences pop. Cut out unnecessary words.
Use structure to think clearly. Speak about each topic separately and in some order e.g. chronological (it is easier to remember)
Pause at the end of each sentence. Do not pause in the middle of a sentence.
Cut out filler words (ammm, uhhhh, etc.) and replace them with silence.
Maintain eye contact.
Avoid uptalk (where you finish your sentence in a high tone.)
Practice regularly by making an effort to be conscious of your speech (whether it's aloud or in your head). Over time, your subconscious will adapt.
