Practical Life Hacks

1.        Wait for someone to come to you before you ask for something. They will feel submissive and obliged.

2.        Slow down when passing people on the street. They are forced to move around you.

3.        Brush a person’s eyelash with your finger to see if they are truly unconscious. They blink/flinch if they are faking.

4.        When you are in an uncomfortable situation, list things you are grateful for. E.g. when you are in a cold shower

5.        If you want to remember to do something, put something out of place e.g a shoe in the sink

6.        When experiencing physical discomfort, focus 100% on the pain. Your brain will recognise that it’s a sensation.

7. To avoid perfectionism, gather 50-90 percent of the info. Complete 50-90 percent of the task

8. Nervousness and excitement share the same physiological state. Convince yourself that you are excited when nervous to do something.

9. Our body position and actions influence our mental state. When nervous, stand tall and proud.
