1. Compare. Everything is unique with distinct aspects/features to enjoy. If you constantly look for something else or better, you will never be satisfied.
2. Multitask. It is counter productive and damages your brain. Your brain can only focus on one thing at a time.
3. Chase happiness. The pursuit of pleasure is pain. Instead focus on gratitude and being present. You will find satisfaction from your senses and experiences.
4. Anything that does not make you happy now or in the future. Do not pursue something that has no value. Reflect before you expend effort, time, and energy.
5. Force your emotions. They are inevitable and struggling is uncomfortable. Recognise your emotions and sensations and allow them to dissipate with time. Also focus on not acting on emotions e.g. break something when angry.
