1. Do not buy anything that is on sale. The products are there because no one wanted to buy them because they are crap. An exception is when you were going to buy that thing anyway and it is a coincidence that it is on sale. Otherwise you are buying something you do not want or need.
2. Before you purchase something, leave it in your shopping cart for at least 3 days and think about it. If you are still confident that you want to buy it then do. Do not fall victim to a brief feeling of excitement.
3. Do not increase you expenditure to match your income. Only buy what is necessary. Always have a goal of saving money for an emergency.
4. Identify and eliminate bad money habits. E.g expensive diet and food bill. Figure out how to spend less on that source. E.g Cook food at home.
5. Invest in equipment that you will use a lot. Do not waste money buying replacements. E.g invest in an expensive suit that will serve you for life or a good laptop if you use one for work
6. Do not purchase according to other people's values. Invest in what you personally believe is worth it. Pay for things YOU enjoy and worship.
