How to find the right career.

  1. Determine whether you have a better tolerance for risk or for doing a monotonous task. If you constantly feel sick with worry when there is a lack of security, perhaps you should get a degree and then work for someone else. If you feel frustrated doing a meaningless task where you are not constantly engaged or passionate, perhaps you should follow your dreams or create a source of income from doing what you love.

  2. Decide how much money need. If what you value or makes you content requires a large income, work long hard hours to earn it and enjoy the payout. If you can survive happily on the essentials or value free time and relaxation above all else, find a flexible and forgiving job that meets your needs.

  3. Find work that you are naturally good at. Think back on your early life to times where you performed a task with ease and comfort. Avoid a career where you have to work twice as hard to keep up with the competition.
